So much to say about this place and so much to see. How pleasantly surprised we were on our visit. So much history and many historical vehicles. You could even have a ride on a tank, although we weren't able to this time but we would certainly go back for another visit. A nice cafe serving cakes, hot food and drinks. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

I did the drive a tank experience and it was great fun. The museum is excellent too. I can't believe how much they have squeezed into the place, but it doesn't feel cramped. Everything from models and displays to decommissioned weapons and real tanks and vehicles. So much information in an engaging format! We had to leave at lunch due to other commitments, after getting there first thing, but we could have easily spent another few hours. The kids loved it, asking so many questions and filling in the activity sheets. To top it off there was a surprise training operation involving two osprey helicopters which landed on the tank track. While a rare occurrence, I can't imagine many museums where that happens.

Brilliant museum. So much to see and do. We paid extra and took the 15 mins journey around the grounds on board a DAF army lorry. We had a fabulous time!

The collection is a bit mixed up, no real form to it all, although interesting. The large stuff, tanks etc are great but it's the other stuff that is all over the place. Disabled access is okay but could be improved upon and discounts for carers would be good.

Incredibly comprehensive and detailed. So much to see. Well worth visiting. Nice shop and restaurant too. We visited a couple of weeks ago and had such a friendly welcome from all the staff there including the owner, with whom we had a lovely conversation.

I took my partner for my partner's 50th birthday as he loves Tanks. We loved every minute of it, it wasn't busy which was nice. There is a cafe on site where we had coffee and a sandwich, the food was good as was the service..

Would thoroughly recommend a visit here. Absolutely brilliant if you like military vehicles and history. Spent a good 3 and half hours here and wasn't disappointed. Just when you thought you were near the end another room with more vehicles appeared. Well worth the £12 entrance fee. There's also a cafe which had a good selection of food and drink.

This is an amazing place, I would say that this is the best keep secret in Norfolk, especially if you have even the slightest interest in military history, It has a great cafe half way round. Yum yum 😋

We have been going past the tank museum for 36years. So on September 10th 2024 we had to come in for my wife's 75th birthday. We had a wonderful morning there & a lovely meal also. Please tell the 2 ladies on reception I didn't get my deep fried Mars bar from chip shop that evening as we had a power cut. Thank you for a lovely trip around tank museum. A superb collection of historic militeria. Covers both world wars and the history of local regiments and the site itself. Fantastic collection of models. Cafe onsite as well as a shop. Slightly expensive entry fee but was worth it.
